Hello everyone,
Happy New Year! I spent my day beginning my plans for the dip. Thank you to everyone who messaged me tips and advice! It was so kind of you, it’s great to see teachers sharing and caring. This is just a post to let you know what to expect from my blog in 2015.
My blog reached many milestones in 2014. The biggest achievement for my blog was reaching over 100,000 page views. It is now almost at 140,000 views so I cannot wait for the 150,000 milestone! My Múinteoir Valerie Facebook page also reached over 3,000 likes. Statistic wise, my most popular posts were ones based on teaching practice, book reviews and subbing tips, so I will try to continue in this line.
I also aspire to somehow have time to start creating more resources to use day to day. I am hoping to start selling them on this website:
Mash.ie is the equivalent of Teacherspayteachers, without the huge chunk of commission being taken from your products! I have uploaded some resources to this site already but I hope to add many more so keep an eye on it! Maybe start uploading some yourselves too, might be a handy little earner for 2015!
I hope to continue writing and blogging in 2015. I also hope to build on the units I have available for sale, and to do many more giveaways! So to start off the new year, I am raffling one of my thematic units- The Rainforest. All you need to do is to like and share the status about the Rainforest on my facebook page. I will pick a winner at nine o’clock.
