Mr Price Ashbourne
Hi everyone!
I called out to the new Mr Price which opened in Ashbourne last week. I was delighted when I heard of it opening, as it is so close to my school- very convenient! Thank you to Mr Price for the invitation, it filled my teacher heart with glee to see so many materials and resources for such good value!
So here’s what I chose for my classroom:
These sentence strips are a life saver! I used them all the time last year for flashcards in English and Irish, or for frasaí in Irish too. They are reusable too so can be used again and again throughout the year. You could also use them as a student learning tool. You could give each child a strip and ask a questions and ask them to write their answer and hold it up for you to see. Voila, a quick and easy assessment tool!
I got these rubber die for my prize box.
And look at this! 1000 lollipop sticks for something like 4.99? I will use these for art and maths. You can never have enough!
Modelling clay for my prize box- only 69c each.
I have used these certificates since I started teaching. They are only 1.49 and are really good quality.
]These large colourful dice will be perfect for my maths stations- I think they were only 5.99 for 12! I can’t wait to use these.
So that’s everything, plus I bought a giant whiteboard for only 14.99 but it is in the car!
These are some photos of things I saw in store which I hope to get next time!
