Goodbye Summer Holidays!
Hey everyone,
Sorry I haven’t been posting much on back to school season, I think I am in denial! I have been at home more or less for the last two months so it is going to take some adjusting going back to being an adult working and cooking and running my own house again! I am too spoiled I think!
It has been a busy summer but I think I had a good mix of relaxing and doing enough work to keep me going- I can never switch off completely, I get it from Mom and Dad, I just can’t relax for too long, I prefer to be busy!
July was very busy indeed, with the release of my book, summer camp and a seminar too!
I had plenty of my beach walks with Sonny!
August brought a wonderful holiday to Sorrento, dining out, my friend’s wedding, a second holiday to Dublin for my nephews and lots of relaxing!
And, some not so nice news, the passing of our little dog Chuckie. We all miss her so much. We just thought she’d be here forever.
It’s not over yet though! Next week will bring a Nathan Carter concert, (I’m his biggest fan!) and a trip to the Bord Gais to see Billy Elliott. I think it is important to make the most of the last week before school begins because September is a very tiring month!
So teachers, whether we like it or not, it is time to start thinking SCHOOL! I am excited, but so nervous about my new class level!
