Science Blast February Update

Hi everyone

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. I’m just sharing a quick update of our Science Blast journey.

We have been scheduled for attending the Science Blast Fair on the fourth of March, so we won’t feel it now! We have been having regular Science Blast meetings, working on our posters and displays etc.

I must say the communication and organisation of the whole thing has been most impressive so far. I have received a few very detailed emails, with step by step instructions on what to do next, consent forms, bus times and so on. You can tell it will be well organised on the day which puts my mind at ease!

Our scientific question is about sustainable living and would it be possible to live off the land if all shops were to close.

So far we made blackberry jam, homemade butter, and this week we made cookies. It was really fun- the boys were against the girls , they made a batch each and then we had a taste test! They were all delicious of course!

We have a couple more investigations to do then it will be down to preparing for our stand, our display and our PowerPoint.
