A lot of children will love sitting down to do their daily written tasks and work, while a lot more will not, and will find the idea of doing school work at home quite difficult. Please, if you are a parent reading this don’t worry. I think all parents are in the same boat! If you have to give your child extra screen time , please don’t worry. This too is a learning opportunity. I have compiled a list of apps, (mostly free ones though a couple of them are paid) for literacy and numeracy, for young children, which come highly recommended from reviews I have read from other teachers around the world.
