Twinkl: My Review
Hello everyone!
As you know, Twinkl contacted me and asked me to help promote their website in Ireland. They offered me free membership and two subscriptions for two readers of my website. So naturally I said yes, I would love to!
Pro’s of Twinkl:
It has resources on every topic and theme imaginable.
It has resources in a variety of mediums- pdf’s, flipcharts, power-point, etc.
It is easy to use and accessible.
Their customer service is excellent, and they always reply promptly.
Con’s.
Some of the power-points aren’t terribly detailed. I teach 5th and 6th and I think some of the resources which are supposed to be for their age group are just too basic, e.g. one I downloaded was four slides long. I would like to see more detailed resources for the senior classes. I would recommend Twinkl for 3rd class and below, but I wouldn’t use it a lot with my 5th and 6th class.
The Irish resources are limited. They are building on them all the time, but if they are targeting Irish teachers there should be a lot more resources in Irish. If you compare them for example to https://realtaranga.com/ they pale in comparison.
It is expensive. Yes, you have unlimited and full access to hundreds of resources, but it is still a little pricey I think!

Hi, i read your blog from time to time and i own a similar one and i was just wondering if you get a lot of spam comments? If so how do you protect against it, any plugin or anything you can suggest? I get so much lately it¡¯s driving me crazy so any support is very much appreciated.
