Hello everyone,
I am having a seminar in The Hills Cricket Club on the 28th of January, from 12- 3pm. I chose this weekend because I know a lot of you will have completed a week of placement at this stage and will know what you need to work on, what you would like advice/assistance with etc. I am so excited, love doing seminars on teaching placement because I am so passionate about it. It is such an important yet stressful time for student teachers and I just really enjoy sharing ideas, resources and tricks I have picked up over the years.
I have done so many seminars now I have actually lost count but it must be almost twenty!
The seminar will include sessions on
Writing lesson plans with samples
Behaviour management which is a huge one!
Classroom management
Resource suggestions
Building a rapport with your school
Time management
Lesson transitions
The attendees will also receive a free copy of the NQT Guidebook. There will be a number of teacher books and sample workbooks in the raffle which will really help you to pitch your lesson at the correct level.
