Hello everyone!

I hope you are all well. Thank you to all who have purchased the World War Two resource ane the novel guide. I know the two resources work well together if World War Two is your theme, so I have decided to sell the two resources together in a bundle. Each resource would be six euro each at full price and the bundle costs eight euro. So that is 95 pages of World War Two resources and teaching ideas for only eight euro. Your class will be experts in the area!

World War Two Pack:

I always found when teaching the senior end that work books and student books just never had enough information and didn’t delve deeply enough into certain topics which need it. So over the past while, I have been working on Focused History. Focused history includes a number of history resources on big topics which I will be releasing over the course of the next few months. The first unit I have released is World War Two.

It consists of:

Timeline of WW2

Leaders of WW2 and fact files on each

Ireland during WW2 and The Emergency

The Blitz

Children during WW2 and evacuation

Reading comprehension

Reading comprehension activities

Country study- Germany before , during and after the war, facts on Germany

Comic strip template

Fact file template

Writing template

Key vocabulary of WW2

Main events mind map template

WW2 project ideas

The pack is 45 pages in length.

I would spend a full month on this topic to do it justice, and there’s loads of scope for linkage and integration too!

The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas:

I created my newest novel study guide on The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas. It is one of my favourite novels to use with fifth and sixth class. It is so powerful, yet simply written and it isn’t too long. I started this resource months ago and have been working on it sporadically whenever I had time. It is ready now and I am so happy with it! It is 50 pages in length and has more than enough material to see you through reading the novel.

Table of contents:

Chapter Summaries 1-20

Chapter Activities for each chapter, 1-20

Character Analysis for all main characters

KWL Chart

Fact files

Inferencing

Examining important quotes in the novel

Prediction exercises

Compare and contrast activities

Comic strips
